A thousand miles
From laughing till tears with my friends to my first record, this song from Vanessa Carlton brings me so many memories: I remember being in high school acting with my friends the famous hilarious car scene of the movie ‘white chicks’ seriously it’s stills cracks me up till these days; i loved these song from the first time I heard it, that’s why I wanted to record it and now my parents even attempt to sing it even though they clearly don’t know the lyrics haha. Today being my mom’s birthday and me really being way far than than thousand miles it makes me think of the lyrics in a different way, i wish she was here or better I was there with her, eating delicious birthday food and giving her plenty of kisses!! Oh I’m homebound…..
